I would like to add another endorsement of the Magic Flight Water Pipe Adapter for use with the solo.
It works really well and though it requires the use of both hands, it's very satisfying and easy to use. With the sealed foam rubber gasket connection my bong milks up nicely! :ko:
The only...
Really you can't beat a glass bong with this new SS Solo. I just have a cheap no name one footer. The increased airflow makes the vaporbong more meaningful.
I finally tried it with a rubber band around the stem, creating a seal and a better vapor to air ratio. Can someone point me to what...
I got mine off a random Ebay seller for $200 and had no problem with my warranty claim.
There are vendors selling them for $160 on Amazon.
I don't think there is much reason to be concerned about the ceramic ones. :2c:
I actually prefer my ceramic one even though it's chipping.
Without the ceramic the stems are just way too loose. I don't like worrying about them falling out. Of course this could be fixed pretty easily with a slightly larger stem. I would love a nice, short, straight, tight fitting 14.4...
Got my replacement and got the full kit. This time however I got a bent stem AND a straight stem. Both are quite loose in the bowl. They have 3 holes in the bowl.
Charging my new black ss one right now for it's maiden voyage.
Now that I have spent a few more days with this thing I must say I'm very pleased. I have gotten used to the stiff draw. I mostly use it with my glass bong and that helps make it more effortless. Also the smell has dissipated to the point where I no longer notice it!
I do have chipping...
Arizer Solo
This Canadian entry into the portable market seems well built at first blush. Feels solid. My mouthpieces fit quite snugly. Fully charged it, heated it to 3 and began testing.
The draw is very restrictive. Feels like an over packed PD stem. I could tell I was getting medicine...

Thanks for the input guys! I have a tendency to preheat a bowl in the HA and then forget about it!
Maybe that means I didn't really "need" another crucible full in the first place! :ko:
Hippie
I'm in. Really excited. I would like to request the 14.4 connection.
Also I am really stoked for the battery pack. Is that ready soon or will it be a while? What are we looking at on price?

Just FYI...in my arsenal the vapor bong has given new life to my Herbie. I wasn't using it much because the bags are kind of a hassle.
The mouthpiece, without the smaller tube, fits on my 14.4 glass joint. It does not go in to the joint, just kind of sits on top of it. This is great because...
Is anyone else interested in a long lasting mobile power pack for your log vapes? The Vapolution battery pack is reported to work for about an hour before needing to be recharged. This does not seem to be worth it.
I know that RC enthusiasts have made use of lifepo4 battery packs for this...
Has anyone ever tried running the PD off of one of those emergency portable power things by Die Hard or Black and Decker? I am just curious if something like that could keep the PD warmed up when I'm on the go and don't want to have to leave the accessories on and keys in the ignition in the...
