I believe that the issues with the touch screen went well beyond issues with BT or web server. There are others who remember it better, but I believe that they had all kinds of issues with proper registration (not sure if that's the right term) and I think ended up sending out a stylus with it...

Yep, at this point, I really don't know how VXH is having them made, but if its solder then its the neatest, cleanest production solder job I believe I have seen. I don't know that they are welded either...just that there is some tech available for doing so. Cheers

The ELBs may or may not be soldered, may or may not be using silver solder or something similar, but certainly the ELBs can be lap welded.

Now guys, I have a FP SH and have been and still am a big NV supporter. My FP works wonderfully. But in my experience, the EVO can extract as well, as fast, and as easy as any other vape on the market incl the FP. In some respects, given you don't need a stand for it, no exposed coil...

I can't swear to it, but that's what it always looked like to me. Welded on the seam of the ELB and press fit of the rings that go around the top of the ELB and its top. Why do you think that VHX doesn't know what its made of?

Oh, its metal....but I can't find the reference...but I thought it was some sort of steel coil. I may well be wrong, but I can't imagine anybody making coils out of aluminum due to potential toxicity.
