My zeal also drops ~25-30 degrees when I put it on the shovelhead, I think this is because the shovelhead transfers heat much better than a glass bowl. I've gotten awesome results with letting my zeal sit on the shovel head till is does its 30 degree drop then removing it until it heats back up...

I think that is backwards if I understand correctly, you can have as much thca as you want and the thc % has to stay under .3. From what I've seen the good "thca" flower can be just as good as dispensary weed in Socal at least. the stuff I got recently hits better than most of my dispensary flower.

Yup! top part gets hot but even after 24hrs of it being on, the bottom is still cold so no worries on it scorching anything. I've left it on with the lid before and then the lid is quite hot but not unmanageable (I've used this to warm up my distillate to transfer containers).

I use Burt's Bees on my vong and it seems to keep it looking nice. I also put a small amount on the orings if they are really dry. someone let me know if this isn't a good idea :hmm:

I would try tapping it sideways a on something to see if that loosens it up. If that doesn't work, try adding some heat to it with either the Injector you use or some other form of heat, while giving it a little wiggle.
