I dont think the cracking there is a big deal in the grand scheme of things .....its over the battery.... Sure I would like it not to crack at all.....but mine has it again....and really....at the end of the day....it still works like a champ.....does the job I want to do....I would love for...

Im intrigued about the Fury 2 or the Force.....which is similar to the fenix......How would you compare the fury to the Alternate?

I use mine everyday and other than the cosmetic cracks above the battery....it works like a champ. I have the arizer air and love it.....and also the fenix.....both are great also.....but I keep on using the Alternate Better plastic for the body would be a nice upgrade....it is a bit flimsy...

Has anyone had the Trouble code 1 error pop up when you hold button down to heat this thing up? I received a replacement awhile back for the crack near battery..... its worked fine till last nite... @Vivant

I dont have the V3 cap.....the crack that appeared on my Alternate is probably caused by the heat of the battery? I dont know if those cracks affect the unit performance tho...

And there it is :( Was cleaning the Alternate... and I see 2 cracks top of battery compartment. I emailed support yesterday @Vivant...... but haven't heard back I should of worn my glasses the first time I checked..... haha... getting old :(

I'm still using the crafty CU.... daily use and couldn't be happier. That being said..... woukd love to hear more reviews of this V3 cap..... so far sounds like it's really good. Will be interesting to see if @Vivant will expand on improvements for the Alternate. Aluminum shell? or thicker...

Have the exact setup.... works great..... so smooth.... easy to clean.....

Dhgate will send you a new one.... and won't charge for shipping..... It may be a bit of a wait..... depending where you live I suppose....

Sorry....It was such a long post....I kinda skimmed thru it. Concerning heavengifts......just go to their site www.heavengifts.com and you can chat online with someone there.....they would be more qualified to tell you the difference with the two different heaven gifts.....I assume they would...

The green pick is just a add on to help stir the bowl ...tamp down ..etc.....I dont even have mine inserted....I find it a pain because it keeps sliding out.....in no way missing it affects performance :)
