Hey y'all. I ordered the quartz cap today and I can't wait to try it out! Looks like I need a bigger torch now. I recently broke my j-hook and I was interested to find out whether y'all prefer this device through water or dry. I may need to pick up a new j-hook too...
Just ordered a solo 2 and it'll be my third vape. I have dynavaps and a nova from Doug's woodery but this will be my first session vape. Is there anything I should know or expect when it arrives? I'm excited to try something different...
sorry if this has been covered, but can anybody tell me how drastic the difference in price is between medical and recreational purchases?
as in, like, i know an 1/8th is like 80 dollars rec (ridiculous) and i'm certainly qualified to be a medical patient (already vaping on doctor's orders) but...
hey y'all
sooo, i have a PSM and i had to replace the glass.
i know (think?) @Pipes uses fasttech to get the piece you need (a cloupour cloutank m3 glass replacement) but alas, i live in the good old USA where now you can't order one without crypto currency, which i do not use. Stupid vape ban...
So is this an upgrade comparable to, say, an induction heater for a dynavap? Am I understanding correctly? Like torchless and no hotspots?
Edit to add: for a brick or a nova or something like that, I mean.
i'm not positive, but i think they're a bit different.
i don't have a runt to try it with, but i think i remember reading somewhere (probably reddit) that they are NOT interchangeable...
a bowl of kief (straw method until full) in a 777-fin tip with a low temp cap just made me fall back in love.
to hell with sprinkling.
ok time for bed now...
hell yeah!
his woodwork is sooo nice.
even when i'm not vaping i catch myself sitting here just staring at my nova, playing with it like a fidget spinner. the magnets and the way the pieces fit together make it feel kind of like playing with a deck of cards in your hand or something. it's soothing.
Here are some pics of the new mouthpieces and the v1 and v2 on a bubbler. I'm still learning the curve but this is my new daily driver for the foreseeable future.
I used an 18-to-14 adapter and some silicone bits to secure it in place and plug the bottom up. Cost like five bucks and took less than ten minutes with the scissors.
ETA this thing is SECURE. i honestly haven't even tried removing it, but it isn't going anywhere willingly...
NOVA came this afternoon. holy shit this thing is awesome. sent me some dimpled glass stems as well. one is the same size as the original, one is larger and won't fit the enclosure, but makes for a cooler path, and the third is a ridiculously long straight one. like at least ten inches, i'd...
yeah, his woodwork is great. i went with solid walnut everything to match my other stuff, but the things in his gallery are straight up eye candy. if it hits right i might end up with a fancy one for the desk...
my NOVA ships out today! should be here by the weekend, if all goes well.
i have to say that dealing with Trey at Doug's Woodery is the most pleasant customer service experience you could imagine. it's beyond that. i feel like i know the guy now lol. even if you don't get a NOVA you should go...
i've tried a few different things. i was just eating it on peanut butter, and i made a small batch of coconut oil last time, but i haven't gotten it anywhere near where i want it yet potency wise. some people say they get lit up from it but i've only ever experienced a good night's sleep (which...
i vape about a gram a day or so, which is pretty much all day toking with a dynavap.
i'm disabled, so as long as it doesn't affect my driving (and i don't drive) my doctor said to pretty much vape as much as i'm comfortable with.
