    Log Style Vapes

The diameter is around 2-7/8" and it is 3-1/2" tall. I can't answer the question of temperature comparison since I haven't tried one of the others. I do know the taste is superb and the herb is always well roasted and 12v. The heat feels very nice on my sore hands after turning wood and forming...

    Log Style Vapes

That is one of my options. I want to be sure there will be a continuous market for them. I was looking to see if there was any interest.

    Log Style Vapes

Thanks. I love it! You have just coined the phrase. Your vaporizer is state-of-the-techno-art. True all glass air path and precise temperature control is quite amazing. I could only dream of doing that.

    Log Style Vapes

Thanks. It has been a fun project. The heat engine is identical to the MZ/PD/WZ. I have never tried any of them, but would imagine it performs similarly. The roasting tube configuration is unique.

    Log Style Vapes

crawdad is correct. Log = Wood .... and wood is good. It doesn't have to look like a log just because it is made of wood. It can look like a top. This is my latest creation. The "Toasty Top". It has all the features I described in the first post. This one is made from tiger striped maple.

The Bud Toaster - (currently: Model 14, version 3)

Another compact power supply than may be getting closer to reality is the Butane Fuel Cell. Butane Fuel Cell

    Alternative to traditional vapes

Nice to see another Mechanical Engineer on the forum. Remember your thermodynamics class in school? Energy must somehow be added to the herb to make it vaporize. The energy should be added as evenly and uniformly as possible. Mass flow rate and temperature will dictate the energy addition rate...

    Discontinued Incognito Vaporizer

YikeBike makes a battery backpack to extend the range of their bike. Extender backpack They don't indicate a voltage for it. Would be great if you could beat them on price.

    Japan...........

All the cooling pumps and piping are located in the basement. They have back-up pumps for the back-up pumps. They also have back-up piping for the back-up piping. Everything is double redundant. There are even back-up circuits for the back-up circuits. They didn't plan on the top of the building...

    Japan...........

I would be very skeptical about what you are hearing on the news. I was a mechanical / system engineer at an identical BWR-4 with Mark 1 containment for 15 years. I know most of the systems and have been everywhere in the plant. I have been on the refueling platform when they moved fuel from...

    Cleaning the tubes.

Have you tried a bit of cotton ball soaked in ISO and tied to a string? Best way I have found so far.

    Discontinued Pandora Kit from Purple-Days

I have been playing around with the resistor for these units. They get hot enough to melt solder when 12 volts is applied. Any solder on the lead wire within a short distance from the resistor can become molten. If this molten solder drips, it could cause a short or just rattle around...

    Discontinued MagickWand Vaporizer

Great concept! That is exactly how I have been vaping lately. Been using the heating element and glass from my malfunctioning easy vape set into a short section of wood. A short aluminum pop can surrounds the glass to provide protection from burns. Wouldn't the Glow Pro do the same thing and...

How to clean vape parts and reclaim resin

Found a great way to clean silicon whip tubing. Get a string a little longer than the tubing. Put the string through the tubing. The easiest way is to draw air through the tube and let the string feed in until it gets to your mouth. Tie a small ball of cotton on one end of the string and soak...

    Aromazap/Myrtlezap/CeramicRockZap

I sometimes clean my screen by removing it and re-inserting it in the roasting tube edgewise. The goo on the edge of the screen is now in the center of the hottest airstream. A few light pulls will give some great hits and goo will now just flake off when you take it out of the tube. May need to...

    13.5v for log vapes?

My power supply does have banana jack output. I had to build my own cable. The nice part of it is that you can make a longer cable. Mine is 10 foot long.

    13.5v for log vapes?

I have been really enjoying my variable voltage power supply. Now I always know what voltage I am applying to my unit. It doesn't matter if the wall voltage is 110, 115, or 120. I can apply the voltage necessary to generate the appropriate temperature for the particular strain of herb and the...

    Log Style Vapes

I would love to have that too. Just need to figure out how to get it to survive an impact that stainless steel would be capable of handling. I want it to be something that will last for 30 years (will need a little TLC if you want a little THC).

It is a project at the moment. I might be inclined to produce them if there is an interest.

    Log Style Vapes

I know a lot of women and older people that always have cold hands even in the summer time. It would be normally plugged in all the time. Can be used as a hand warmer in the car too. The point is that it has a function (other than vaping) if someone asks.
