Only thing I can think of is that you got a bit too much water/iso in there.
Two questions:
1. Can you use a better descriptor than just horrible? Is it plastic-like? As if there wasn't a cleaning and lots of old resin is heating up? Etc.
2. Was this the first time you used it since you cleaned...
For a burnoff period, if I remember when I first got mine in May, it didn't taste weird to me... but I just did what everyone else suggested to do at first: let it go on low for about 5 minutes, let it cool, and do it again. No taste afterwords.
My friend said his unit that he got last November...
I know exactly what it means. You really should read a bit better. I was trying to troubleshoot someone else's problem.
See what the kind dog above me said.
Blinking blue like how the unit blinks red when the battery is dead? Or blinks blue, like more of a pulsating light, as it does when green and heated up?
I ended up going to a smoke shop and asked if they had any non-disposable pipe cleaners. They had one that basically was a cleaner for something cigar related. Since my knowledge of cigars is limited, I have no idea what it was used for. I say related, however, because it was tucked away next to...
100% this. Don't chance it not buying from an authorized retailer.
This too. I find that turning it every time you change the temperature (or about every 5-8 minutes if you like to only use one temperature; time varying based on heating level) works the best.
They were essentially making fun of us for doing what we were. I just didn't like the fact that the smell was noticeable for what it was. I'm never worried about Chicago pigs because, as a white male with a 9/10+ girlfriend, they're either eyeing her or ignoring us due to our skin color; racist...
I'm not too concerned. Mine just sits in my pocket while I'm out (aka at work) and because my uniform is black attire, it blends right in. At home, no need to store it.
That's probably true. That time I was basically sitting off in a corner with a friend.
Please provide more details because I was smoking one time in Lincoln Park around Clark and Lincoln and people, as they walked by, started staring and making coughing noises. Granted I had been there for 5+ minutes and had used it on medium and high at that point. I can get using it on low and...
I make sure to get as much resin out as possible. My oven near the hole under the screen and on the walls have like zero resin and look almost brand new still after having it since May.
I only use 00g steelwool, dipped in the 95% iso, when I'm getting the resin off the screen.
They always seem to throw in extra screens. Try to swindle a cleaning kit out of them, it's been noted here that those have been included as well.
Edit: As for how often you want to clean it, every few days seems excessive. I've found that after using it 3+ times a day, I only need to give it a...
Can you put that picture to scale with something? Because my first reaction was, "My god, you let that much buildup get in that thing? Your vapor must taste awful".
