Nice rig, Vape. Cool pics....I wish folks would send in more, It breaks up the monotony of how to clean the pax. Lol. We should have a "pimp my pax" contest !!!!!
i picked up this quirky little adapter at the lhs today, works perfect with the mobius. the glass butts right up to the mp, so there is no vapor exposed to the hose, if your worried about that kinda stuff. at first i didnt want it because it was angled, but its actually better, because it tilts...
i just timed mine the other day, i ran it dead flat on party mode and it took 1hr 10min to get to green again. there is such a thing as "dirty electricity", but i dont know if it would apply to a charger. try charging it at another house.
if you look down the tube you can see the "latch" which makes the electrical connection. it's the dark spot at 12 o'clock in the pic. it works just like the strike on a house door. when the mouthpiece is up, the "latch" sets in the bottom groove of the mouthpiece stem and makes the electrical...
i used a piece of 1/2 inch i.d clear tubing from home depot . jamband gets all the credit, she has closeup pics a ways back. basically just cut a two inch piece and stretch the one end over the mouthpiece. its a pain in the ass to get it on, but it fits perfect. the other end slides into an 18mm...
Has anybody gotten a flashing orange light? This is my second pax after a flashing blue light issue. It happened twice, I just clicked the mouthpiece down and up again. I was wondering if this could be another thermistor problem and its blinking orange instead of blue. Any thoughts? Other than...
My replacement pax is a beast....I have been using it hard since Thursday, barely cleaning it, and the mouthpiece doesn't stick at all. It seems totally different, the catch seems more solid and works perfect every time. The oven door seems let more air in too, I don't have to Cincinnati carb it...
i sent my pax back last monday and according to tracking i'll prolly be getting it back tomorrow. 10 business day turn around, no biggie. the folks at pax were great, emailed me the mailing slip. seems the blue light was a thermistor problem which is an electronic gizmo that senses temperature...
Mine has the infamous blue light issue. I'm waiting till Monday to chat with ploom, meanwhile I can get it to heat up by clicking the mouthpiece up and down a few times. It also cycles back and forth between green and purple. I tried party mode and it will still shut down occasionally. Pain in...
