i just timed mine the other day, i ran it dead flat on party mode and it took 1hr 10min to get to green again. there is such a thing as "dirty electricity", but i dont know if it would apply to a charger. try charging it at another house.

my pax just took 1 hour 15 minutes to go from dead flat to green.

i used a piece of 1/2 inch i.d clear tubing from home depot . jamband gets all the credit, she has closeup pics a ways back. basically just cut a two inch piece and stretch the one end over the mouthpiece. its a pain in the ass to get it on, but it fits perfect. the other end slides into an 18mm...

i dont have enough chronic to keep up with three or four batteries......lol

the oven door is filled with a white powder that acts as insulation.....so you don't want to soak it.

Has anybody gotten a flashing orange light? This is my second pax after a flashing blue light issue. It happened twice, I just clicked the mouthpiece down and up again. I was wondering if this could be another thermistor problem and its blinking orange instead of blue. Any thoughts? Other than...

My replacement pax is a beast....I have been using it hard since Thursday, barely cleaning it, and the mouthpiece doesn't stick at all. It seems totally different, the catch seems more solid and works perfect every time. The oven door seems let more air in too, I don't have to Cincinnati carb it...

i sent my pax back last monday and according to tracking i'll prolly be getting it back tomorrow. 10 business day turn around, no biggie. the folks at pax were great, emailed me the mailing slip. seems the blue light was a thermistor problem which is an electronic gizmo that senses temperature...

the screen is probably preforated for surface area, like the dimples on a golf ball....more surface area, more heat transfer,,,just a guess
