I have an Evolver HT which has ice pinches which I got by chance when I bought a dead cloud to take apart and see if I could fix. The ice pinches are great. I now use that tube exclusively. I though am choosing white to contrast with my original cloud (so I will have white, black and green)...

Were you able to do this. I have high expertise in soldering and could not do it without cracking the ceramic heater. I would try a different solution next time. Like trying to imbed a post in the connector and attaching to that.
