toros23 - Thanks. Once I get the lathe set up just right, it is easy repeat the perfect taper angle for each piece. I will be making more WonG's. Thanks jambandphan. They are so fun to make. Vapinghole - Your WonG is on the way. The wight way not the wong way. One thing I have found with the...

vorrange - Sounds like I need to send you a new adapter. Hopefully it won't get trapped in customs hold. I will send you a pm. BlazednConfused - Sorry that I don't have any units available for you at this time. Life is a bit crazy for me at this time. Hoping that will change soon. You can...

    The HI

The oil does seem to evaporate a little slower with the cotton when setting on the HI since it is not in direct contact with the copper so the temperature is lower. However, the oil evaporates faster at room temperature with the cotton since it has a higher surface area. I just set the cap next...

    The HI

I was reading on the forum where jardri placed cotton in an aromatherapy cup to hold the essential oils. I thought it was a very good idea, so I gave it a try. I just put half a cotton ball into my copper aroma cup. The cotton soaks up the oil very well and continues to provide aroma at a lower...

vorrange- Glad to hear it finally made it through customs and it will soon be clouding up your tubes. Sorry to hear about the adapter. I'm hoping it is just a poor connection. Sometimes I need to bend to the middle the two little tabs inside of the adapter plug tip so they make better contact...

OKcomputer - I would be happy to collaborate with a glass artist to make some nice glass roasting tubes. That would be very cool. BDV - That is a great looking tube. Nice that you can use it again. The Turbo Tube suits it just right. A very nice match.

    The Amazing Vapor Lung!!!

It should work with any vaporizer since it functions exactly like your lungs. The pull speed will determine the draw speed. The cap will just have to be made specifically for the vaporizer being used and have a seal at least as good as your lips. Obviously some vaporizers will work better than...

OTA - Have you tried any of the Silcon brand silicone? I don't find much if any taste to it even when hot. The first time I tried a silicone roasting tube it smelled like a hot glue gun when heated. I might not have pursued the silicone roasting tubes if I hadn't discovered Silcon brand...

Your Highness - Sorry to hear about your injury. Hopefully it isn't permanent. I have had little rings branded into my fingers several times when I accidentally stuck my finger into the end. Painful, but none have left permanent damage. I imagine you are not the first to have burned your nose on...

    The HI

My move is taking way longer than I had hoped which is delaying HI production. Unfortunately, there are quite a few people still waiting. Your unit will be one of the first when I start production again. Only those lucky enough to be looking at the classified adds at the right time have gotten...

BDV - Thanks for posting the video of the pinch and grind method. A very tasty way to roast. I usually put about 4 or 5 smaller flower pinches into the roasting tube but it is good to see that one big nugget works too. Your Highness - Glad to hear that the scent in mostly gone. That is the...

    The HI

Wish I didn't have to make anyone wait for a HI or TT and hopefully my situation will change soon. If you have ever tried burning dried leaves you know how poorly it works when they are in a pile. Not a good smell either. If you have a pile of dead branches with the leaves still on, it burns...

jambandphan - Glad you are liking the glass roasting tube. Sort of like a glass cigar. bOObs was able to use one of my glass roasting tubes in the Solo by turning the temp way up. BDV - Very dark roast. Looks good enough to brew. I have actually made ABV tea with my Aeropress and it was pretty...

    The Toasty Top

Thanks PurpleDazed. Glad to hear everything is still working well. I'm planning to make some WonG's with stainless steel roasting tips for use in the TT, HI, and CRZ when I get the shop set back up again. Great mod to the glass connector Ace.357. I enjoy using the Turbo Tubes with the TT...

Thanks for posting the video jam. Looks like it is working well. Sort of like having an electric hot air lighter. Have fun testing the other tubes.

    Sublimator

Doing some research and found than someone else from Canada has also made a Sublimator vaporizer. The Advanced Vital Plasmatic Sublimator. Very steampunk. Release the Kraken. http://brassgoggles.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=36978.0

    The HI

Coconut oil is food safe for use on wood so I would think it would work well to condition the HI. I may even try a mixture of beeswax and coconut oil for a wood / skin conditioner. The burl wood should be plenty thirsty with all the crazy grain patterns. Such a nice bonding time to condition the...

    The HI

Congratulations jambandphan03. Hope you are pleased with it. They can hit quite hard. I also make the wood/glass stems for the HI. Pretty much any configuration you can imagine. Planing to make a wood stem with a 14mm WonG end. Just a matter of cutting a precise taper. Happy roasting.

bOObs - You should have lots of fun after the t-break. Glad your HI is still going strong and keeping your hands warm. Nice to have multiple functions. Here is a video I discovered that shows a stainless steel (thread-on tip) roasting tube being used with a Heat Island.
