Yo, I thought it was working ok when you first got it? Or something is out of allignment. The problem is your relative humidity concerning the battery fitting. Rounding the entrance won't help. The MI I got the HG2's wouldn't fit at first. I though it was a mistake. The next day they fit fine...

I was using those cheapies in the beginning for my Mi and no they dont have the ledge to hold the screen so it's well worth it to buy the specially prepared ones from Mistvape instead. Pax 2 is great and so is the Pax1. For out and about they are very discrete.. You might save a few seconds heat up on the 3. Ymmv

Does the new mist's need time to warmup? Someone who just got one that also has the mi said to me there was some waiting for warm up with his compaired.. Just checking :)

I think the problem is that when you take a hit with a convection vape tilted towards you, the heat coming out of the heater naturally rises to the side of the stem that is highest creating a hotter spot there. When I hold my Mi more upright when hitting it with a slow draw I dont get hot...
