That's a good point. Not just the resin conensing on the cool steel surfaces, but Iso could carry and concentrate resin, depositing it where we don't want it.
Sounds like you definately have some resin buildup. I would definately try to clean the pipe where the spring is. To be clear, the dental brush is tiny and thin, like fat dental floss. This is NOT a tooth brush.
Again, I recommend 99% Iso. Your WalMart may have it, or you can order online...
I can't disagree at all. The jury is still out whether the plastic switch is affected by the Iso or if it's the resin that causes the switch to stick. I personally lean to the resin theory.
Ha! Nip it in the bud! Sounds good! Those are the little brushes. Barely moisten with high octane Iso and obviously be very careful to not get any iso on that switch.
Can anyone ID the bit size and type required to remove the Pax case? Looks like Torx. Maybe a #3 or #4?
I could go buy a set but would never use it. I'd just like to get the one tool with handle
Dammit, I'm wondering about this also. Not sure it's worth it. I use ABV, but it's just light brown. The Pax toasts it much more thoroughly and darker. I would think it would make poor tincture, but maybe not.
Vito- Thanks for the clarification.
Jambs- Have you received your little dental brushes? That area where the spring is located is pretty sensitive. Or potentially, maybe. I've never had a single issue to date with the Pax, but I've always taken a new pipe cleaner to that little area whenever I...
After vaping all day yesterday with the Pax, this morning I got it ready for another day.
I dumped out yesterdays ABV, wiped off the oven lid and reloaded. I'm exhausted from all the cleaning. ;)
Paka you should go load a bowl, maybe. Thou dost protest too much. Pull out a Marley CD
Headdocktor, do you have a Pax yet? When you put the screen in it leans against one of the walls
Not literally, obviously. I have no issue with it.
I think the cleaning is minimal also. I've never seen anything aside from very slight resin on a pipe cleaner. The oven cleans out with a quick wipe and a puff of air. This is I suppose partly because the herbs are in contact with smooth...
