Sounds like you definately have some resin buildup. I would definately try to clean the pipe where the spring is. To be clear, the dental brush is tiny and thin, like fat dental floss. This is NOT a tooth brush. Again, I recommend 99% Iso. Your WalMart may have it, or you can order online...

I can't disagree at all. The jury is still out whether the plastic switch is affected by the Iso or if it's the resin that causes the switch to stick. I personally lean to the resin theory.

Ha! Nip it in the bud! Sounds good! Those are the little brushes. Barely moisten with high octane Iso and obviously be very careful to not get any iso on that switch.

So in the last few hours we have three people who cleaned around the spring area and found improvement.

Can anyone ID the bit size and type required to remove the Pax case? Looks like Torx. Maybe a #3 or #4? I could go buy a set but would never use it. I'd just like to get the one tool with handle

Dammit, I'm wondering about this also. Not sure it's worth it. I use ABV, but it's just light brown. The Pax toasts it much more thoroughly and darker. I would think it would make poor tincture, but maybe not.
