check out the noir too. there has been a whole host of improvements to it, after taking into account user feedback. funny thing with the noir is that i get flavour right untill the end, something lacking from both the crafty and solo, wouldnt have really expected that from a conduction vape!

interesting you find that, i personally like straight to lung, it might just be a placebo but i feel like i always get higher that way. also with straight to lung the vapour on exhalation looks thinner...that might be better absorption in the lungs?(??)

I don't have both so I can answer those direct questions, but the bowl was never a problem, either in size or in emptying. The indica comes with spacers so you can pack a half bowl, IMO this produces the best vapour clouds and you can cash a bowl faster too. Emptying isn't a problem either coz...

I always visually make sure the threads are aligned. Then again I've always had to do that coz I pack the bowl and then drop the oil pad on top...so you have to compress it with the cooling unit a bit before turning it 90 degrees
