I just had my FF2 refurbished to a plus. I bought it less than a year ago, right before the plus came out. I've spent about the same $ now as I would have if I'd waited & bought the plus. But, anyway...
I do notice, so far, a much better draw. Has anyone noticed that after the upgrade to...
Guess you got lucky with the mouthpiece. They just told me that the upgrade wouldn't include a new one. That was one of my main reasons for doing the upgrade, but I can buy them (I think a two pack) from them. I think they would have the screens in them. I appreciated them telling me that to...
I've been debating with myself about sending my FF2 in for the upgrade. FF sent me a new battery as one of the one's I received with the vape (which I bought on eBay new) was bad. I have the latest firmware upgrade. I lost the little screen in the mouthpiece but if I use the vape in the right...
Is rosin safer than live resin; or is it the same thing? Rosin isn't flash frozen as is live resin but is that the main difference? I don't think either one uses chemical extraction methods.
I lost that little screen on mine so I am going to send soon for new mouthpieces. The screen is kind of a pain because it seems to me that it is the major blockage when I smoke flower. I have to keep taking it out and cleaning it and it's tiny. I haven't done it yet because actually it works...
So from this I would assume one should try to put one's pad in with the same side up, shouldn't one? If you took it out for some reason, and then put it back in and the side you just melted the rosin on was down; wouldn't that more likely get into the holes on the plate? Sometimes its really...
I do that, to some extent; maybe I could use a little bigger pieces but I understood that there really shouldn't be any gaps where you can see down to the oven bottom. So the slightly smaller stuff kind of fills that in.
But it is actually when I stir up the bowl a bit. Then the broken...
I'm new to vaping; except for using a Vaporgenie for awhile with a butane lighter. It actually worked pretty well if you were careful and know what you're doing. But I like the FF2 for concentrates. I bought mine right before the FF2+ came out end of last winter. It takes a little time to...
I find that the mouthpiece is the biggest clog problem. I've pulled the little screen out with tweezers and cleaned it with alcohol pad. Thought I lost it once but I found it on the carpet. FF2 works much better after cleaning the mouthpiece and the little hole above where the mouthpiece goes...
Yeah I know the feeling. I just bought one shortly before the plus came out. At least I was able to get it online for about the same price the 2 + is selling for.
My FF2 did show a big difference with the battery life after the update. I bought one off of eBay @ last March I believe. It was new. One of the batteries only held a charge for a short time. I established a work order with The Firefly and they ended up sending me a new battery so now I have...
It does make you wonder why. Also how! But regardless, it definitely works better. I get a much longer time of use between charges; more reliable that way. I think it works more like it was intended to now. I don't mess with the calibration at all now. Seems like little + or = on that...
I'm quite happy with customer service at TheFirefly. A few months ago I bought a FF2 from a seller on eBay. Had the battery issue as well as the clogging issue resulting in a hard draw. So I called them back then. They checked the serial number to make sure it was genuine and wrote me a...
Hey, that's good news. Mine did the update a couple of days ago when I opened the App. Now that you mention it, the FF2 does seem to be working differently and I was just thinking how long the battery has lasted this time. I'll have to try my second battery that wasn't lasting long at all and...
I just contacted customer service Friday as I have an open trouble ticket from February and have a two year warranty. I initially complained about the batteries and they said there was a malfunction in the unit but it could be worked around if the user (me) would preheat it first. I have a FF2...
>>I run at 360 degrees and only hand tear and make sure I can see the holes to get adequate airflow<< Could you explain better to me how you "see the holes"? Do you mean that you empty the bowl and clean it with an alcohol pad or are you referring to lighting up the bowl with heat and seeing...
I'm having trouble imagining 30 hits from a bowl. Are you including several "pulls" in order to get vapor before the light goes out? If I'm lucky, I get maybe 8 to 10 "hits" from a bowl. Maybe I'm discarding and wasting herb by not turning up the temperature.
I'm pretty new to vapes. I have a Vaporgenie with which you use a lighter, preferably a butane lighter (less vapors than a disposable supposedly).
The times I've vaped rather than burn I always have trouble deciding when my herb is spent. I'm sure this is a common problem. If I was better...
So when one melts concentrate into the concentrate pad; how long is it good for? In other words, can you take it out, smoke some herb, put the pad back in and smoke more concentrate? I cannot see any in the pad at all. That's normal right? How do you know if the pad is spent?
