    Discontinued Haze Square

I think you guys are over complicating this a bit. The design of the Square is brilliant. You hold down the button until it buzzes, and at that point it’s reached your set temperature. If you continue to hold down the button, it will continue to apply heat but at a lower rate. If you’re in a...

    Discontinued Haze Square

It's taken me a bit, but I've got the method down on my Square now. I fill the bowls to just below the rim, loose, no tamping, medium grind. I set the haze to the temp I want (usually start at 380F). I press the button, hold till it buzzes, then slowly draw. This gives me my first 'flavor' hit...

    Discontinued Haze Square

The Square is becoming my favorite vape ever. That is all.

    Discontinued Haze Square

I tried doing the extra button press during the draw, and vapor went way up. So this does have a strong effect. But why? Does the extra press override the temperature setting or just help it keep the set temperature? Anyway it works, so thanks for the info :) —— PS What size are the hex...

    Discontinued Haze Square

It buzzes again when it’s done. Then it automatically shuts off. It does. I suspect it’s not getting the material that hot.

    Discontinued Haze Square

FWIW, mine takes less than 30 minutes to charge, on the wall charger. Plugged into my computer, however, it takes much, much longer. I gave up waiting :) As for technique, I'll describe what's been working for me. I'm still learning, too. Here's what I'm doing to get consistent results (so...

    Discontinued Haze Square

I can see the coil glowing during use, yes.

    Discontinued Haze Square

How difficult is the draw? It should have very little resistance, for good air flow. Clean the screens, make sure every hole is clear. Your seal looks just like mine, so I think it’s good.

    Discontinued Haze Square

I was able to update the firmware on my Square, and it did indeed fix the delayed charging problem. So, yay :) In other news, I discovered that the silver screens get plugged with resin pretty quickly, and you can't really tell that they are plugged when looking at them, because you can't...

    Discontinued Haze Square

Anyone found any good replacements for the O-rings on the mouthpiece? Something tighter with no air leaks?

    Discontinued Haze Square

In my case it was a very short draw. It combusted right away. The material was very dry at that point, but still... It can happen.

    Discontinued Haze Square

I had it combust once, so far. It was a nearly used up load I’d been vaping at 390. I stirred it once to see if anything was left. When I hit it again, still at 390, I got harsh smoke instead of vapor. Looking at the ABV afterwards, there were a couple small blackened parts, and a burnt smell...

    Discontinued Haze Square

My personal recommendation for a first vape is the Haze Dual V3. It’s extremely reliable, safe, and easy to use. I think the Square would be a harder place to start.

    Discontinued Haze Square

Yes, I also reported this to Haze Vaporizers. It puts the temps in backwards. Of course, they still work just fine, it's just odd to press the minus button to raise the temp :) I haven't had any problems with blank names, but I've only saved one set. I guess it comes down to a difference in...

    Discontinued Haze Square

Interesting how many say they don't need to stir. I definitely do need to stir, otherwise vapor stops after a couple draws. Also, some say pack tight, and even Haze Vaporizers told me that, but when I pack tight I get zero vapor.

    Discontinued Haze Square

I've been using my Haze Square for a few days, since I got it back from having the seal repair done. It's taken me quite a bit of experimenting to get the load/draw right. Based on what others have posted, my experience seems to be a bit different, though. I get no vapor to speak of until I...

    Discontinued Haze Square

Quick question to those who are experienced with convection-only vapes: Does the ABV tend to be very light colored, and still wet and sticky, with these vapes? Is that the normal outcome?

    Discontinued Haze Square

LOL. Ok sure. I'll just bring those with me. Wouldn't help anyway because you can't CHARGE the battery unless it's installed.

    Discontinued Haze Square

No, I did read every post here first. I missed no comments. I watched all the videos. Even Vape Critic's livesteam. None of those indicated the issues I'd have. Anyway, I'll be sure to post back here once my unit is returned to me. No replaceable batteries though, that's a huge mistake in my...

    Discontinued Haze Square

Ok, well, thanks for the reply. I'll ship the unit back and see. But honestly, how long will it take before the seal just wears out again? The unit is poorly designed if just a tiny misalignment causes it to fail. I've love my V3s (I have 2 of them, and started out with the V2 back in the...
