Living in a state that's still stuck in the throws of prohibition, I'm not often afforded the luxury of concentrates. They're costly and hard to find. And while consistency, quality, and regularity have improved drastically, it's rarely worth writing home about, and it's never anything specific...
1 - Other than what you listed, logs are durable vapes. Outside of stems and cords, it's not likely anything will break. They're size makes them fairly discreet, and used with aromatherapy they're quite inconspicuous. UD's can easily be paired with a battery pack for semi-portable use as well...
After experimenting with feathering the carb on my VonG, I can definitely see the appeal of being able to set the airflow to your preference. With the OG I kept the carb closed, but with the VonG I can let in just a bit of air and get some massive clouds. An Omni is next on my list for sure.
So...
:mmmm: Beautiful setup bro! That burl has a nice Starry Night look to it. And the colors in that rig are exquisite. Is that a Joda piece?
Edit: I've been having too much fun with this. Swirly vapor anyone? Vapornado!
I think I wanna Touch myself ;)
Haha but it all seriousness, I can't wait for my number to come up.
I'm starting to dip my toes into the unregulated vaping scene. I just got the SB JR and really enjoying all the technique involved compared to my other vapes. It's just fun to use. If I...
I still have a lot of experimenting to do, but it held up well to my preliminary testing
Based on the placement of the holes in this one, I don't think they have that much affect on heat retention but I could be wrong. It's smaller and has a less powerful heater, so those are factors to...
Sup Dogs??
Been a little bit since I was in this neck of the woods. Sadly, my pup doesn't play too well with others, so it hasn't been getting as much use with my friends. I had hoped a hotter running unit could keep up with groups as well as my nano does but I really just need a 15v power...
@phattpiggie I really enjoyed your Vapcapple video
Took me back to my early days of smoking, when I would have to repurpose whatever was lying around to make a bowl. Like stoner MacGyver from Half Baked
Rough times for sure, but memories nonetheless. Makes me wonder what other...
When I said "fuck combustion" I wrote of torches and lighters also. But there were enough situations that plug-ins and battery powered vapes didn't quite fit the bill. I got my Vapcap specifically to have an option when I don't have access to power. That being said, I like it so much it still...
Ahhh, glad I'm not alone. I can hit the nano and UD both pretty much back to back with seemingly no issues, but not so much with friends.
If I know I won't use it for a bit, then I turn it down around 10, but yea for the most part I leave it around 12:30 or 1. Much higher than that and I'm...
Purely anecdotal, but I believe it helps in some group situations. 4 or 5 minutes is enough heat time to produce thick vapor. But without some time between hits, most vaporizers will suffer a bit of heat loss during sessions. Being that you vape alone, micro-dose at lower temps, and know how to...
As I said, they both produce vapor in under 5 minutes. But my LSV gets warm to the touch at least 5 minutes before my EVO does. The extra mass around the heater results in slower heating, but better overall heat retention.
Again, they both reach operating temps in under 5 minutes, but what I...
Both can produce vapor in under 5 minutes, but to get fully heated the LSV needs about 10 to 15, and the EVO needs about 15 to 20. But I consider one of the real advantages of the LSV to be the ability to leave it on 24/7 like a log vape
I own an EVO and LSV. I highly recommend both. If price is a concern than get the LSV. IME it performs just as well. Theres just a bit more technique and work involved compared to the EVO.
I agree, by most accounts I've seen, cherry seems to impart the least amount of flavor, followed by maybe the spalted maple. Walnut definitely seems the strongest. Cherry was out of stock on PIU when I ordered and I don't personally care for the look of the maple. Walnut is probably my favorite...
I'm still trying to perfect my technique as well. @Vapor_Eyes tips have been working great for me, and have yielded some huge tasty hits, but I'm still struggling to repeat those results every time. As soon as I feel it, I really pick up the pace. Doing this gives me a very even roast and...
Well, I ended up buying my nano back from my friend. I'm happy to have it back and to finally give it some proper TLC. It was in desperate need of a waxing and most of the extra screens are black from combustion :bang:
Some people can't be helped. If your friends are idiots, you might as well...
