@darkrom the minis run on 12v. My buckeye mini runs a little warm so I usually like it around 11.75 and my walnut mini runs a little cool so I run it a 12.5 or so. I've also used it in the car, but through a 60 amp power inverter, so I'm not sure how they work through the standard car adapter...
