@underdog when you say the micros are powered by a "full size heater" what do you mean exactly? Full mini size? Or full standard just with a smaller diameter?

How much smaller is the inner diameter of those micro guys? They look crazy! Can't wait to get my hands on one.

I received my teak midi today. Pics to come. I couldn't be more stoked. It's BARELY bigger than my other minis and hits like a truck. Thanks again to the Underdog team for making such awesome stuff.

With all of this talk of TonGs I couldn't resist. Had to pull the trigger. Also snagged a ss lite direct draw, I hope I like it as much as my standard stainless one.

FWIW I run all of my standard dogs through a vvps. I've got both the updated core and the older. The older need to run a little higher voltage than 12 and the newer ones a little lower than 12.

I never stir. I only use stainless tips so maybe that's why, but I've always found my avb to be nearly black with a few golden brown flecks around the edges.

I put a screen on the tip of the dowel that came with them and insert it from the joint side of the gong/nong. Works like a charm every time. I especially love it with my nylon peices because they have the crimp on the steel tip, I just push it in with the dowel until it hits the stop ring and...
