Its a hole in the glass. That you would have to put your finger on while taking a draw/inhale. Then you would need to remove your finger to clear the rest of the vapor out. Just like how you would clear a bong or glass bowl.

Here you go. It does collect a lot of lint as you can see in the pic. But a quick wash with some antibacterial soap and water. Let it air dry and it's good as new.
