That totally explains why my Pax would turn on after i put it in my iolite case. Which happens to have a magnetic closure for the pouch thats inside.
Burned up two full ovens on me and i couldn't figure out how this happened.
Now i know, great tip.
The screen is exactly the same as the other one.
USPS tracking only shows when it was shipped and when it gets delivered.
Its not like UPS where you can track it all the way to its destination.

The screen was put in by Ploom. I only used this one twice so far. I didn't touch it because it looked fine. But I will definitely check it later.
I'm just hearing a lot of air passing through the oven lid. I never heard air passing through my first Pax. Only if I tilted the oven to one side.
I just sent one of my Paxs in today as well.
The new one I started using for the first time doesn't seem to hit as hard as the first one.
I'm not saying I didn't get medicated. It still does that job well
But I kind of liked those lung busting hits I was getting with the first one
Your welcome. But when it gets to that brown coffee grind color especially after stirring. Try not to create a suction.
A slow steady draw IMO works best. When you pull too hard or too fast you can easily suck up some of those tasty coffee grinds. :puke:
^^ The screen was made longer so it doesn't sit flat on the bottom. It has to be raised slightly on the end where the vapor path is. So the vapor has room to build up.
I think you are pulling to hard if you are getting particles in the mouthpiece. It has happened to me a few times. Especially...
I agree. The first time i dropped the one on the left could of definitely been prevented if i was using the one on the right. It just shot right out of my hand on to concrete. Oven lid, contents of the oven, and the screen just flew out everywhere.
I was attempting to close the mouthpiece when...
They do have one that has more texture/grip.
It's the one on the right. It has more grip with less slip.
I'm not sure if this one was an anomaly. Or if that's how they are making them now.
These have been mentioned many times before in this thread.
They are the perfect fit for the Pax.
Amazon sells them as well. When they are in stock.

Thanks for all the advice.
HSIHP, I guess I'm just using to much force. Since it always pops back out.
I'm pretty upset right now.
I just dropped my pax for the first time. Of course it had to fall on concrete and not the grass. I was just closing the mouthpiece and before it closed I...
I clean my pax once a week.
Which I don't mind doing at all.
I don't mind getting the heat / temp light issue. Cleaning around the spring area usually fixes it.
I don't even mind having the occasional stuck temp button. I even had the temp button not stuck at all and can feel it actually...
It has been mentioned back in the beginning of this thread. But hasn't been brought up in awhile.
That the screen placement is critical for achieving thick clouds.
I have noticed if the screen isn't a little raised on the side where the air path is.
The draw seems to be more restrictive...
IMO the one on the left is more attractive. I even like the slippery caressing feeling better than the rough grip.
( My Precious! )
The rough texture is better for obvious reasons
Quoted from HephziBubba:
"Now I may be crazy but it seems like its slightly more shiny - I thought my other ones were a little more matte/machined looking. Anyway the point is this one isn't as smooth as the first ones but it feels better than my second unit with the updated mp."
Your not...
