Auto toke detection works well on a crafty and mighty if you have a decent set of lungs and take a good hit. It’s just not super sensitive since it’s detecting the heater cooling faster then from ambient temperature. I bet you figure it out. :)
To press hash with no blowout you gotta take it slow. You need to allow it to heat up fully before any pressure is applied. Gravity is almost enough for the rosin to flow out of the filter.
I've been driving into D.C. to get my herb from the pop up stores. I'm new to it but I finally feel like I have a good consistent place to go and it can only get better. Thus I've currently got Cherry Pie, Green Crack, Jack Herer, and Superman OG to play with. The subtle variation in flavor...
They keep getting better and better. :)
I have 0 complaints with my 3x7 caged plates in fact I think they are the best. But I might snag one of the aio presses next year.
That sounds so sweet. I need to come out for a visit. I haven't been out since last years beer festival. I also caught Gojira/Opeth at red rocks. But I quit drinking at the end of last year so not much reason to attend the beer festival anymore. It would have been my 4th year in a row.
I am making my butter from trim made ice hash rosin. It’s a really inexpensive product for me. My last batch of brownies I used 6.5 grams of rosin. They packed a serious punch at over .500 mg per brownie. Dangerous in the wrong hands. :D
Since your growing I’d also suggest the 3x5 or even 3x7. They have no minimium amount to work well. No need to freeze before pressing. I think that could mess with humidity as it heats through the dew point.
Have you tried this one? A friend of mine owns the company but that aside it’s a good design. Pretty much the smallest on the market but it holds any size 510 cart.

Yeah the sour patch candy is delicious. I just ate one. :)
My control unit is kicking my gfci outlet when I try the new coil so I guess I either need to rewire my controller or get one that has the standard pinout. Any recommendations for a reasonably priced good controller?
