But weren't a big chunk of the pledges made in the last couple of days of the campaign? 300 seems smaller than I would have expected. I'm one of them, still waiting.....
Also, before anyone bothers doing the math, that's 300 backers, not 300 hoppers. Plenty of people have added on extras since...
Probably not more than the person they hired to answer emails can handle. Especially when they are just sending out canned responses half the time.
I confirmed my address over two weeks ago, only update I care about is seeing a tracking number in my inbox!
Then they could have said that in their previously scheduled email update that takes all of a minute to write.
The content of the updates isn't even all that important, just irks me that they blew off something that takes almost no effort yet people count on.
They obviously booked outa here for another country with no extradition to the US. Suitcases full of all our cash.
There's really no other explanation at this point- they are nearly 24 hours late for the update!!
"Dude! Did you write the Dec. 15th update for the backers?"
"Aww man, I totally spaced it. But wait, isn't it your turn?"
"Yeah, guess so, I'll get going on it after lunch...."
Huh, they may have been slightly after midnight Mountain Time once or twice, but this is the first time since they started the regular bimonthly updates that I haven't woken up the next AM and seen it in my inbox.
And it's not like it takes all that much effort to together a bunch a vague BS...
Funny, cause weeks ago they supposedly received enough parts to fill all orders.
I think there may have been a push to get address confirmations out by 12/1, regardless of how long they expect it will take to actually ship to those addresses...
Who knows? Maybe after they ship out a batch of purples, they'll get some new machines, nail down the problems, figure it all out, and finally reach perfection....
Cause purple is green's beta tester ya know!
