A few years ago a fc member created a Mac/pc program that connected to the crafty via Bluetooth and allowed the same control as the official app. So it’s certainly possible.
Folks are asking for variable fan speed, different heat exchanger, etc. What they aren’t considering is the volcano was built to be an appliance. It’s simple to use and produces a consistent vapor regardless of ambient temperature. There is no learning curve. Thus most customers are happy with...
Apple iPhone and Samsung galaxy both have integrated batteries. It’s for a very good reason to be honest. Batteries can be dangerous and even explode. The best way to prevent this is to have complete control of the battery inside. Thus no replacement.
First your running to cool for your experience level. Up the temp to 220. I would try with just a single nice bud at first. Put it between the paper and crank it down. My squishes usually take under 30 seconds to limit terp evaporation. Try this and report back.
I’m just saying that any one dabpress isn’t best for everyone. Each one has pluses and minuses and they all get the job done in the end. :)
I personally run the stand alone 3x7 plates with a dake 10 ton press.
The 6 ton is all you will need. I have a friend with one and he is completely satisfied. Only if you are pressing 14+ grams regularly will you want (not need) more.
The remote pump is awkward. Disconnecting it means messing with a drop of hydraulic fluid.
Choose wisely. :)
I love the small form factor but the pump is still kinda awkward.
The 6 ton bottle jack press is a bit larger but the pump is integrated. A tough choice. :D
