Damn 37 watts seems like a lot for the splinter. Is this just in wattage mode? I combusted at 28 watts on my lost vape dna and wasn’t hitting the button for very long. Lately I’ve been starting bowls at 20 watts and then kick it up to 26 to finish.
My splinter came with a heat sink not sure if that is standard but might be better to wait and see.
I don’t think it is necessary unless you have a mod like the pico where there isn’t enough room for the splinter.
No artic Fox just standard firmware. After 6 bowls I can definitely tell the difference between the two. The pico seems to make the splinter run hotter the longer you hit it. While the dna seems to keep it the same temp no matter how long I hit it. If that makes any sense
I’ve been using my splinter for the last 3 days. I must say I love it as I knew I would. It pairs so well with a mod and is so versatile. I can start at 15 watts and just get super tasty hits with light vapor or I can crank it up to 25 watts and finish a bowl in a few hits. I prefer to start low...
There are terps added. It’s honey vape if you are familiar with it. Yeah it’s more of the coil taste that I want to get away from. I am hoping it will be better with a new coil and letting it soak longer.
Thanks for the reply. I think I definitely need to let it soak longer got a little too excited when I first got it and probably only gave it a few minutes to soak.
When my extra coils come from fasttech I think I’ll try changing the coil and then let it sit over night to soak.
One other...
Ok got my drizzle and filled it up with a gram of really thick distillate. I am using the ceramic coil and it doesn’t taste as good as I was expecting. I think the distillate might be too thick because I get a coil taste. If I heat up the oil using a hair dryer it performs much better but...
Please post how you like the drizzle kit once you receive it.
This also looks interesting. In the market for a tank that looks more like an e cig since I am going to be doing some traveling this summer.
Where do you order the apax labs ccell cart from? I have a couple syringes of honey vape that is pretty thick.
Now with the increased taxes it is cheaper to pick up a syringe instead of a prefilled cart.
