Don't know if it's the same reset- system, but if you press the button for 10 seconds, it returns to default settings according to the manual.

Finest screen works great for filtering the extra fine grind of gabbage, didn't seem to impact the result or taste in any way. I use the Liquid pad the most and a pad cut in half ( You get two discs) works great too.
I would ask S&B for the other version. I would send you the file myself, but I deleted the old version once I got my replacement unit :/ It was the one they had on their site at the launch. Or maybe someone on this thread still has the older version.

Could the "adapter" be made to replace the "straw"? Just plug it in instead of the original straw? Sorry if this is a clearly stupid idea, I have no experience in water adapters.

Need to return my unit, I just hope that the replacement works properly. Hopefully the return shipping and receiving the new unit doesn't take more than 2 weeks, but we will see. After this I hope I can recommend the S&B customer service, but I'll just have to wait and see.
Well my experience so far hasn't be the best so I can only judge based on that at the moment. Maybe it will get better and the end result will be as good as one can hope.

I sure hope it goes that well, but not sure if it works that smoothly in Europe. Hopefully I don't have to send my unit back first and wait for them to check it, which would take them probably a couple weeks based on emailing speed :D And the shipping back takes atleast a week.
Tried to connect my Crafty to different phones today, but none of them were able to connect to it. It might be that my crafty has a faulty bluetooth unit and I'm not expecting too much from the S&B warranty service.
I think that is the right way to handle it, shows some backbone :) But I would be carefull with the possible bacteria if it indeed was dropped in to a toilet. Can't be healthy to vaporize comtaminated water.
