Loving my sr-71! With only a slight learning curve, you can get this thing to hit anywhere from lighter than a normal cart, to the same, to harder, to mach 10; great attachment. Need the Nibbler XL hah
Okay, thanks for the response.
Edit:
I notice that the Nibbler X and Nibbler XL are not available for purchase/pre-order on w9tech.com. When will these be added to the site?
would the ce4 tank be able to use sap like concentrates, or will these still be too thick for the wicking to soak up? I know some people on here have used them with pure gold, but I'm not in a medical state so I cannot get that, but to my understanding that is just a sap like concentrate?
I had airflow issues with my sr-71 prior to receiving the SS mouth piece, but since I had used it with it, the herc delivers massive clouds, which I definitely agree would much benefit from having water cooling to it. Nibbler XL should be a nice improvment when it releases
Edit:
The same...
How long does the turn around time on shipping in fried heads take approximately? I shipped today, they should arrive Saturday, would it be safe to assume that I should have my replacement parts by next week thursday or so?
When you say center pin are you talking about the ceramic rod? If not, what are you talking about? What would the improper assembly cover? Just trying to get this all figured out before I get my new tops back.
Edit: Will the resistance only read 1.5 ohms when it is all properly assembled?
As I'd said, it's a little cheap meter from walmart lol I did look but it does not appear to have any settings to offset the resistance in the leads, but for like $10 I can't really complain. I just wanted something to be able to verify that the assembly was beyond any doubt correct, which now...
Ah, okay thank you much! you were completely right, the leads are about 0.4 - 0.5 ohms on this meter, so nevermind then, the rod measures just as it should. Thanks again!
I guess I'll just have to wait for my new tops along with the new mouth piece adapter coming out to fix the air flow...
So I just picked up a multimeter to check the resistance of my ceramic rod for my sr-71 and it reads 1.9 - 2.0 ohms. Is this a problem? I've read here from many people that the resistance should be about 1.3 - 1.5 ohms?
I was going to be sending in my Persei tops since my sr-71 fried them, but...
What are you anticipating as an expected release date / shipping date on these? Will people who have already received their hercules just be sent an invoice like via paypal or something for the shipping costs?
It seems that the coil wasn't seated all the way, I wasn't quite heating it long enough, and you need to let the oil cool down before you let it sit after hitting it so that it doesn't leak into the bottom.
I totally think that the SS tanks should be made for sale for use instead of the oil coils.
Okay i pushed the oil coil down so far that I was actually compressing the coil and it was perfectly seated at the bottom and around the rod, yet it still failed to deliver a cloud of any feasible size. It did give a few tiny baby sized puffs though just as before. I will have a picture up of...
