I've learned not to vape when I have a cold, flu or similar. I definitely feel like it lowers my immune system and makes things worse. Now if I have stomach issues or several other types of sickness, vaping can be a godsend.

You can do straw method, use a scoop to get herb from the container, or just press the Tempest bowl into the ground herb then tamp with finger or otherwise prep the load as needed before screwing on the cap. I definitely don't believe the manufacturer designed it for folks to reach in and pinch...

@justcametomind If you're worried about mold, etc, you should probably be more concerned about the flower you're vaping. One of the potential downsides of dry herb vaping versus combustion is any mold isn't exposed to flame and destroyed.

@Mukmuk You mentioned powering it on but not getting heat for a few minutes. What mode are you turning it on in? e.g., on demand (3 clicks with blinking LED) or session mode (2 clicks and hold the 3rd button press with solid LED) Hope you get this issue sorted out soon. :tup:
