I saw your graphs months ago and had a thought which I want to share. The load temperature goes up a good amount during the drawing on the Solo 2. That has to be caused by heat flow due to air movement so that convection dominates over conduction for the Solo 2. That makes sense to me.
I totally agree @stickstones. Best thing is the Solo 2 bowl never needs cleaning. Only the stem occasionally needs cleaning and that's very easy. The Solo 2 is much less expensive than the Mighty and stacks up very well against it in all the features important to me. Good draws, good flavor...
Everybody says the draw resistance has improved. I never used the Solo OG; but I do use the Crafty. The Crafty draw is very similar to the Mighty. The Solo 2 draw is just a bit less open than the Crafty; but I use the two vapes differently.
The Solo 2 has an open draw but encourages me to sip...
I agree with @CarolKing about going slow when eating ABV. I think it depends on the strain, what temp it was vaporized at, and how you eat it.
I vaporize my weed at 170c-185c and even 1/4 heaping teaspoon (.25 gram?) of ABV gives me several hours of relaxation. It is fine ground and I usually...
Well @nomadicsoul34 opinions are like a-holes. Everyone has one and most of them stink.
But since you asked, I use a Crafty for small doses and just put a liquid pad on top. Very nice for small loads and for keeping the chamber clean (IMO). The pad makes sure the load is evenly roasted. The...
Well @dave123 I never used the Solo, but have had a Solo 2 for a year now. It's draw is fine and the vapor is on par with the Crafty (and I assume the Mighty). I use the Crafty for portability and the Solo 2 for home.
I am alternately medicating with two Craftys, and will replace the battery in each at the same time. I'll be glad to get the $80 price for the pair. Thanks in advance @JCat
What you could do is to let the unit get to full temp before inserting the stem. Then as soon as you finish your draw(s) remove the stem from the unit. It's sort of VOD since the glass heats and cools quickly. Also there is some convection involved in this unit.
You mentioned the Mighty. I have the Crafty which is the little brother of the Mighty. I love the Crafty vapor and flavor which is supposed to be the same on the Mighty. The Crafty has battery issues but the Mighty has a solid reputation.
I also have an Arizer Solo 2 at half the price of the...
