Belly rubs and a bit of roughhousin'
Cricket always plays with his claws out but under tight control. It's a bit unnerving because you constantly feel the needle-sharp points on your skin but they don't dig in. If he gets a bit too wound up or genuinely irritated, they DO start to dig in, and...
I’m not worried about it from that aspect; I’m more annoyed by the delay. I contacted Ispire and they got back to me immediately and are looking into the problem. In the meantime, I’ve reordered from VGoodiez ‘cause I’m too impatient to wait for the original order to get sorted.
Cricket brought a ball over to me with gentle taps and nudges so that I'd throw it for him to chase:
Pardon my language and the burrito belch at the end!
I received one of these yesterday and well... meh. It's functional, but a bit frustrating to use.
The glass does not fit securely in the base at all. I first noticed this in a YouTube review video when the reviewer didn't seem to be pushing it down into the base all the way, but it turns out...
My initial impressions are not very good. The first couple of hits tasted awful, and I haven't completely gotten rid of that taste despite multiple cleanings. Sort of a Robot-Fart / New Car taste.
I'm having a hard time dialing in my typical 1-2 hit dab; I either end up over-cooking it or get a...
I had to snortle at him because he was being so serious while looking like a complete goofball! After the second snortle, he just stopped and looked up at me like, "I feel like you're not taking this seriously enough..."
I disrespected the game of Lazy Bowlegged Fetch!
My favorite site for ordering coffee online is GoCoffeeGo. They work with a few dozen different roasters and have an awesome selection. Orders are forwarded to the roasters, worked into the queue for the next roast, and then shipped directly to you. I've received beans that were roasted just...
I used an x-acto blade to cut small o-ring-sized slices off the end of a MiniVAP Flexicone+ and then stretched them over the end of the Ditanium mouthpiece. It was quite a stretch and I was worried that they were going to break, but they didn't. Two of them make for a very snug fit.
Aside from practice and assuming that all other variables are staying the same (grind, water temp, ratio of coffee to water, etc) a good gooseneck kettle can really help with the consistency of the cup by allowing for a more controlled pour.
The Bonavita kettles that I've tried all pour a bit...
I'm getting a bit of an "off" taste from the ovens. It's a little bit worse with the first two ovens that I was rotating; I didn't iso or burn them off like I usually do. It tastes a bit like I imagine the smell coming off of a hot amplifier would taste. It's less pronounced on the two ovens...
