I wouldn't trust survival from desk-height to hardwood floor (my situation). Maybe carpet would provide some relief, but compared to a wooden log vape or the hard-plastic Plenty/Mighty, Vapbong is decidedly more delicate.
The Vapbong weighs less than 3-lbs, has unfortunate weight distribution...
The Vapbong is great, but it's also a custom $500 ceramic piece. You drop either the ball or a child/pet knocks over the Vapbong, you're out of commission and repairs/replacement aren't cheap.
Initial heat-sink is 10+ minutes. The heater gets very hot - you'll burn yourself if you do much more...
I think Focus Camera ownership changed hands recently. They used to be a legit photo/video retailer, but I think they're now buying overflow and returned stock. Same thing is happening with BuyDig/Beach Camera. Still legitimate, but with more questionable stock (refurbished items were clearly...
The ice part looks like cherry blossoms against a dark blue sky. I like it a lot. My buddy called the magma flow "cheetah print." :)
I think the ice glaze with a soft pink would look great.
It looks better in person!
Do you only leave the ball under the heater when you're drawing? Or can I leave it on for the bowl session? I've been doing the latter and the bowl becomes quite hot, but not unbearably so. Have the voltage set to 9.5.
Since it was cold-start, I actually enjoyed the whole curve on the way up (deep-dish quartz banger still heating up ruby insert), the peak (usually the least enjoyable), then the race down.
But the convenience of the enail is unmatched.
I put the drip pad on top of my bowls and that keeps the top screen clean.
Did the old Volcano models not use "disposable-grade" plastic parts? On the surface it doesn't seem so bad paying $12 for a wear and tear set or replacement filler chamber housing.
But having spent $50 on replacement...
That's a really good price.
The 30mm axial coil from 710 arrived today (can't recommend 710 enough) and this is definitively endgame. Fool-proof, easy, consistent. And yet, I almost miss the temperature curve of the butane torch.
I've got the Auber set to 480 and let it heat soak for a bit. I...
This is what I have, which is what I understand to be a matrix perc with a recycler. I'm new to this, but wouldn't this work just as well as the Ramahs' side car?
Is the beaker similar to the Mega Globe? The draw restriction is more with the Mega Globe than it is with the matrix + recycler...
What kind of setups do you guys use your Woodscents with?
I had been using a Sneakypete Mega Globe, but there was a lot of draw restriction.
I saw someone online say they vape flower dry through their RBR recycler. I don't know if it's a faux pas to use the same glass for concentrate and...
I think the black/white is probably the most inconspicuous (then blue/white and pink/white). My friend has the purple/yellow one that is definitely a lot more vibrant and easier to spot - which can be a good/bad thing depending on your situation.
At $225, you'd have to break four globes before you're breakeven. If you're that clumsy, you should be buying in bulk from China.
Also looks a bit ridiculous IMO. I can't believe it's a real product.
Unless that's new, I haven't heard the nefarious part.

There are two XLR pinouts, but NewVape, 710, Disorderly Conduction, etc. all use the same (ground on 5).
The other pinout has ground on 3 (Dabbing...
Picked up their 30mm deep dish axial coil, which I'd have to imagine will fit my 30mm 710 deep dish banger :)
That's a great price if/when they come in-stock. Wasn't a fan of the SiC banger on the VROD, much prefer the ruby insert.
Sorry to revive an old thread, but a lot of good information in here.
Is the consensus still to buy the most convenient sapphire/ruby available since it's all the same lab-grown?
Quartz Bangers has the 19mm for $80, Greek Glass has the 22mm for $100.
@LesPlenty found these 19/22mm for $45/50...
I just swapped my old enail for the Auber RDK-300B and the temps must have been way off on the old one.
Even with heat soaking, I don't get anything under 600 with the Auber. I start around 660 and go up to 800 to finish the bowl.
