my favorite combo!
my intellicharger i4 consistantly puts of a strong electrical smell- anyone have any ideas as to why? iam up on the the third floor and my wife on the second floor yelled up and told me it stinks like chemicals??
vap- i will def look into the pin in the lower chamber. i do recall after i had leaking into the lower chamber that the spring loaded pin/ post that accepts the rod was not moving smoothly. i did drop it in iso but that may not have done the trick. i will try and clean it better tonight and...

with my sr74 from a cold start i have noticed to get massive clouds i need to prime/ heat my unit up for about 30 seconds or so. during that warmup you really shouldnt be pulling on it- all this does is cool down the heater and chamber. i also hold the unit horizontal as i am priming...

from your posts i see you really enjoy the original carts, especially the 2.4s. i used 1.5s exclusively for about a year and a half on a daily basis. they definately did the trick during that span! i thought they performed very well right after they were loaded- i would get very nice...

i was using one coil with the sr74 7.4v rod! i definately had enough material in the chamber. maybe i was laying on the button to long and burned the material? i did end up with a lot of oil in the lower chamber until i started holding the cart horizontal while priming...
great info!! would be even better if all herc info such as this was able to be tagged, ending up in a herc "info file" or something. this way to obtain information one will not have to spend hours sifting thru conversations.??
how about if the nibbler xl was also offered in an acrylic version...
trying to use one of several of my mods (as backup) to run the herc and i keep getting "atomizer short" or the unit doesnt read the ohms. anyone sucessful with running the herc on something other than the persei?
