Thank you for this. Makes a lot of sense and thinking back, the original had a power block where this is just a plug in with a pass through. I had an IH that would behave totally different with a slightly different power supply. Looking through my drawer of power supplies now.

Couple of shares from my experiences. 1st, against popular opinion, but I’m not a fan of the SH v3 MP. And really after using, I’d be more of a fan of using a mp requiring the grommet. You have to remove the MP any way so probably be better cutting the stock MP top off and tethering. Seems...

I do two 99% iso baths. First soaking, then replacing the dirty iso with clean for another soak. After this, I dry as much iso as I can then place in front of a fan (optional but that’s just me). To quote the Beatles, “Let it Be” for 24 hours. Never had any issues following this.

Nope. I stop before the click. Even when using the torch. The click happens, but while I’m taking my pull. I had terrible combustion results at my first attempts going to click. Was very frustrating after using with the forge and having perfect results.
