If you leave the Solo on 7 and its brand new your going to smell the bowl as it heats up. Mine took a few days to stop the smell and I took mine apart and wiped everything down with ISO.But eventually the metal smell/taste will subside almost non existent now.i guess the bowl is seasoned now...

(When first released some bowls started flaking the coating off and Arizer gave some peeps replacement Solos and let them keep the original). How much they want for them?
