Being such a new piece for Sam, he may not be doing any custom mods to the recycler. If he charged you for them, they will be done. Turnaround time is difficult. Accidents happen, life happens, things get in the way. I've been waiting on a recycler from another maker. It was supposed to be done...

I don't believe these have a shelf life. I believe that breakages are user error. Heating too high above or too low below the actual heating area may cause problems. Heating the glass to too high of a heat may also cause problems.

My one in use slider is still going strong. No cracks or breaks. Maybe it has something to do with the wider diameter of the cone?

When was your order placed and for what? Some pieces take quite a bit of time. Communication is not always the best, but I've never had an incident where he has flat out not returned my messages.

I assume I can turn the heat up a bit for better success, but my unit combusts small dry loads very easily, so I've never tried. It just works so well, for me, with a bit more material.

I don't have luck with small loads in my wand. I can do small loads in the WPA, but the wand doesn't seem to handle them well. I usually pack the whole joint minus the EQ screen when I use my wand. Dry or moist doesn't seem to matter for me. A bit of moister bud dries out really fast after I...
