You have an earlier version, the unit does not do this anymore as we listened to what people want, and if possible we address the concern. Even my OG does not do this, not sure why yours is behaving this way, start a warranty return if it bothers you. Thru where you purchased it or here, Email...

I do, I only have the cheap plastic 2x18650 holders that came with torches etc. I live in Tasmania so not as hot in the car as some mainland states but you should be right.

I must admit I did knock over one of mine while using it as an oil burner but it was luckily almost empty of oil at the time...I have not bumped it using it this way since by just putting it out of harm's way to start with.

Good question, I would not leave the battery on the dash in direct sunlight but kept in the vape or in a decent battery case will be fine stored elsewhere out of direct sunlight.

Don't forget you can use it as an oil diffuser if not vaping with it.:wave:
