    Discontinued The Grasshopper

With the batteries I would not charge more than 1A. In fact it would be best for this battery to charge at .5A since it is under 1000mah. I'll be charging mine on an external charger at .5A.

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

So I got a reply back from S&B. They said they will only be fixing the fault that caused the flashing lights. They never mentioned the housing. Are not people getting a new housing under warranty as well? With the housing breaking off from the heat is a known issue and I could swear people...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

I have had better luck then most with my Crafty. I bought my Crafty January 2015 and probably averaged close to 2 sessions a day throughout that time. I never used it with a bubbler at high temp so probably didn't stress it too much. My temp is usually between 185C to 200C. I usually top...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

Exactly what I did. I sent them an email earlier today asking them to clarify what will be fixed/replaced through warranty if I opt out of the Battery Service. Waiting to hear back.

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

The point is I shouldn't pay anything. If the warranty requires them to replace my Crafty with a new one, because basically that is what they need to do to fix the problem, then they shouldn't make me pay for Battery Service that supposedly include shipping costs, firmware upgrade and new...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

I have gotten word back from Storz & Bickel regarding my unit I sent in for warranty. And I am a bit pissed about it. My unit was a v2.04, about 200hrs and I got the red/yellow flashing lights when trying to turn on. Also the housing where the CU is held in place was broken off because of...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

Battery was still functioning perfectly. Until the Red/amber lights started I was still easily getting 2 long sessions out of it. It is possible that I could get 3 but I never let the battery go too low before recharging. I usually recharge right after it cools down from a session. In...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

I had the original FM v5 before moving onto the Crafty. But with my Crafty being sent in for warranty I decided to get the FM v5 Pro to use until I get the Crafty back. Although the Pro display shows the temp getting to set temperature, extremely fast I must say, I don't get any vapour...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

Question regarding the warranty. If you send the Crafty in for warranty and they replace it does the 2-year reset? Or no matter how many replacements you get after 2 years from initial purchase warranty is over? A couple days ago I sent my Crafty in for the first time. Bought it Jan 2015...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Completely not true with Lithium-Ion or IMR's (which I believe the Grasshooper batteries are.) Top up whenever you want. Just like you do your cell phone, laptop, etc. Same as I do for all my vape batteries. What you don't want to happen is to have them completely discharged. Having them...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

The ONLY reason that the back-end will get hot is because of connection issue. There is absolutely no other reason. There is no circuits there just the switch components. And if that is the case I cannot see why GHL cannot solve this issue.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Are you having back-end issue? The GH not you. Even if there is a spring it still must be a connection issue. Maybe with the switch components within the back-end and not the connection to the battery? I believe we have heard of back-ends falling apart before.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Hmmm. someone says fixed an someone sprung loaded. I wonder if this is one of the changes GH made. Maybe the newer back-ends are sprung loaded and the older ones not. Or vice-versa.

Then this is the issue. They are relying on every battery to be the exact length and there is always some variance. You get a battery that is slightly different in size or maybe the wrapper thickness is slightly different (I have seen this) preventing a perfect contact. One of the contacts...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I still believe this to be a connection issue. There is not a solid contact between battery and backend or there is a bad connection within the backend itself. This is probably causing arcing and the reason for the hot back-end. Also this would cause circuit issues and the battery venting...

Do you find it does a good job cooling down the vapor? At $4.36 I'll buy a few in case it breaks.

In Canada all our major pharmacies sell 99% and like someone else mentioned Costco's pharmacy sell it as well. Yes probably something you may not want to do but having some drip in wouldn't hurt it.
