Max temp. for vaporizing without damaging the lungs

Burning sensation at lower temps could be terp burn, and you'd deal with that by using different or less material. Feeling it at higher temps could still be that, but may be more likely to be from the heat.

PSA: On whatever time scale you’re comfortable with, deep clean your shit.

Clean gear is lovely. I keep a Hubble Bubbler in a jar of alcohol between uses so it just needs rinsed and filled before use. And I clean my WPA by soaking it in my hot coffee. Everything stays clean and it's almost no work.

The Golden Age of Dry Herb Vaping?

I think this is it. With ball vapes we understand how to build a convection thermal battery that fully extracts in a single rip. Getting that tech pocket-able is the next move.

    Future portable vapes

Something like a Vaphit combined with a Wand could be pretty great, an all-in-one all glass induction situation.

Using the Deep World of Coffee to Understand Cannabis Extraction

I feel like all of this talk of extraction points us towards...extracts! Like, BHO's would be high efficiency, low temp full expressions of the plant that you can then consume with just temperature as the variable. Having said that, I'm definitely a light roast coffee and dry herb guy.

    Does MJ Help With Sleep

I'm in it for the pain relief but my nightly toot does seem to help with sleep. Whether that's its own thing or just a product of being more comfortable doesn't much matter to me.

    Dat halogen taste .....

The only halogen I have is the original Angus, and it really is it's own thing. Slow extraction, great taste with a unique tang. Even at the highest temps the roast comes out pretty light. Great 2nd pass edibles potential.

Happy Thanksgiving, FC. What are you thankful for this year?

I'm thankful for my health, my family, bicycles and free time.

If only I knew what I know now..

Rotating strains and devices seems to keep me from developing a tolerance. Like, I was using my TM2 for several weeks and then switched devices and got absolutely zooted off of less material. So that's neat!

    Vaping "Just on weekends"

I'm a daily consumer for pain management, but right before bed. Helps with sleep, too. No real issues during daylight hours. Barely drink alcohol at all anymore, and that definitely used to make for the occasional rough morning.

This is my process, too, and you're not imagining anything. Body high, very mellow.

    Herb Grinders

The OMD would be my pick. It's got weight, inertia, lid shape, and that smooth bearing working for it. If you're super picky about grind maybe it's not versatile enough. But I find myself being less picky, given it's ease of use.

    Herb Grinders

Yessir! Anodization is an electrically applied oxide coating. That coating has a columnar micro pore structure. Those pores can hold dye molecules if applied in a second step. But plenty of things are anodized and left colorless. The anodized oxide coating is tougher than natural...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I really like the Delta 3d Studios Mighty case for holding just the device. And I also use home 3d printed cases to hold 9 dosing caps. These are capped at both ends so fresh caps come out of the top, used ones reenter through the bottom. All very smell proof.

    TinyMight / TM 2

I've made titanium stems in a bunch of lengths, and the stock 55mm is too short in Ti. It heats up faster than glass and can't manage more than a rip or two before becoming very uncomfortable. The one I use the most is 100mm long, with quartz balls between gutted stock cooling unit halves...

    TinyMight / TM 2

The harshness of TM2 vapor is partially related to temp setting, but the biggest factor is stem choice. Stock stem at high temps = harsh. Longer stem with quartz cooling balls at high temps = smoother. WPA with bubbler at high temps = very smooth. But the base unit, the heater, is just a...

    The Screwball by Vapvana

Bowl handle? The handle likely uses a standard thread pitch. You could take it to a local big box hardware store, find the "thread finder" display, and see what matches. Then you'll have the dimensions you need for buying or making a replacement. Or do you mean the handle on the heater...
