    Phase3 Vaporizers

I've been tinkering with a few different bowl ideas based on this, but it's kind of hard to tell for sure based on parts laying around. I might order a couple test parts and see how they do. 🤔:rockon:Thank for chiming in my dude! Appreciate you stopping by! I like these questions...

    Tar from herb in vapor?

Well if you're in the US we already have a history of cannabis products being used as medicine, Upjohn of Kalamazoo Michigan had over 30 cannabis preparations, you can still purchase the vintage bottles these medicines came in, so cannabis coming from a doctor certainly isn't unheard of, but...

    Discontinued Glass Symphony XLR

That product says its rated for 600F, but to not affect the integrity of the bond I think that might be on the lower side for this vape. It takes a good amount of heat to penetrate through all the glass and other than the heating element, the thermal paste itself would be the next hottest part...

    Discontinued Glass Symphony XLR

It's all good my dude, I don't really see it as competing with mine since my vape is already openly inspired from the Glass Symphony (+Flowerpot) Plus the GS was always designed as a DIY vape, even when he was selling them the parts list and build information was openly available for anyone to...

    Discontinued Glass Symphony XLR

You could get better performance by skipping the thermometer adapter and just stuffing the cartridge heater inside the 3-way distillation adapter and covering with balls. Kinda like a big G43. It wouldn't be as "all glass" as JoJo's design is, but it would be easy to do and work better from a...

    Discontinued Glass Symphony XLR

JoJo used thermal paste to improve the heat transfer from the cartridge heater to the glass thermometer housing. I didn't want to mess with any of that, which is why I heated my vape externally.

    T-Bucket Banger System by NewVape

You said your using the same rig for your T bucket as your Dnail, but how much does this rig compare to the tiny Peak glass? Dabs from my 5” rig taste worlds better than dabs from my 15” rig, even if I’m using the same sapphire enail setup. What I’m getting at is are you sure it was the SiC...

This isn’t a “gotcha” but S&B pretty much invented the “medical vaporizer” genre and look what happened with the Hybrid.

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Markus Storz confirmed it in a recent video. Also now that the Crafty+ is already a thing it’s believable the Mighty+ was never far behind.

    T-Bucket Banger System by NewVape

Well the first question I’d ask you is what kind of water pipe are you using? The Peak uses a very small glass piece and in my experience as rigs get bigger they rob a significant amount of flavor. The worst being recyclers in my opinion. Something small with relatively little water is ideal for...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

This reminds me of the study In Vitro Validation Of Vaporizers where they find the Arizer Solo extracts considerably more THC than the Volcano or Plenty. But I’ve never gotten anywhere close to the effects of a Volcano when using a Solo :hmm:

SiC of the rattle? Adding SiC Balls to Flowerpot

I don’t have a vrod anymore to check but I don’t believe the air makes any contact with the heater chamber. You can just stretch the coil out a little bit if it’s too short.

SiC of the rattle? Adding SiC Balls to Flowerpot

If there’s play in the coil I would just wrap the post with a bit of aluminum foil or something to make a shim. Unless I’m misunderstanding I don’t see how silicon carbide beads would help?

    Phase3 Vaporizers

That’s correct that the thermocouple reading in the coil is outside of the quartz which would respond slower, though this design has the benefit of a good amount of circumferential insulation spread amongst other ruby pearls and the quartz oven housing. I’ve been thinking of throwing a...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Thank you @Shit Snacks !! :sherlock::sherlock::wave: I don’t really see much of a temp drop on my controller with this vape, it sits very steady even during back to back draws. The sapphire conducts heat more evenly than glass so it is able to recover quicker throughout the oven thanks to...

I have to ask where the benefits of induction heating come into play, when none of the desirable vapor surfaces are induction compatible without some kind of added susceptor.
