    Phase3 Vaporizers

The ball vapes that preceded mine all used glass (Glass Symphony; G43, Evo On A Stick) but the ball vape concept never really got popular until I started this thread for the ruby vaporizer. I think there might be twenty ruby ball vapes now? I kind of lost count to be honest. The thing about...

Syqe Portable Inhaler (metered-dose cannabis inhaler)

Similar things have been out for a few years here in California, metered dose inhalers and metered dose cartridge pens. I think the nebulizer/ inhalers are like $50, never tried one but I've always wanted to as I'd love to try the cool vapors.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Just so we're all on the same page, these parts would be bright shiny white, not actually purple like my 3D model. Although purple would still be really cool :D Wanted to address a few questions I received here just to provide some more information. 1. Have you used or seen Zirconia used as...

The "Natural" THC Percentage and THC/Terpene Ratio

IDK, I talk to plenty of old schoolers who swear the older stuff was stronger. I'm not really convinced the big number stuff of today is stronger than stuff I was vaping ten years ago. I used to get more stoned on trim than I do from most gourmet exotics colas today. As for that study, right...

It's a pretty interesting design decision. It's conduction vaporization, you want the floor to heat up more than anything. The enail coils that don't cover the bottom have been kind of obsolete for a while. The "axial" coil that wraps around the bottom works much better than the barrel coils...

    PIRO by lamart

That's true, though IIRC the principal behind the VG was designed to actually heat the diffuser from drawn in flame and then use that as the heat exchange medium, more than direct torch output itself. My direct torch vape doesn't use any bends for mixing, some of the iterations added in fresh...

Well that’s how the vapor genie works but I agree that you wouldn’t want extra heat exchange with glass tube / Daisy style vapes as it would just heat up the glass tube some more.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I’m totally with you, that’s exactly what I want in an “artisan vape” and that’s largely why I started this ruby ball vape project in the first place! As far as I know this is one of the few materials that hasn’t been used in a ball vape yet. I think it makes the most sense for my housing...

    Sand Castle Vapor Wand

glad it’s still performing for you! Yeah, I had wanted to do one with a thermometer probe like the earlier Supreme’s for the extra visual feedback. Yeah if you do it enough the timing becomes pretty innate, the SCVW was my daily driver for a few months while I was waiting for more desktop...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Well after a lot of deliberation I’m thinking I may actually do a small run of 1.8 housings. Due to a recent ambulance bill I don’t have the funds to finish InV2 right now. Also, after reflection I seem to have displaced the fact that the entire niche point of this vape, and my ruby ball vape...

Artisan Vapes... Novelty, Superior, or Douchebaggary? Discuss...

Well I decided to build my own vape in 2019 because nobody else would make what I wanted and there weren’t really many people trying to make vapes. I didn’t really feel like anyone else would make it if I didn’t! :leaf:

Will we ever see a portable ball vape?

High Mass and heat retention are generally undesirable features in an electric portable. Also most ball vapes don’t heat evenly enough to work well without a heat soak to first reach an equilibrium. With butane power like my vapor wand, the energy density is worlds higher than lithium...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Apologies for the delayed reply, I’ve been 3D modeling a bunch of ideas for referencing later. That’s sweet to hear you’re enjoying the 1.7, I actually modeled a 1.8 housing just for fun. Not sure I’ll ever make any, but I did request a quote just to see. I didn’t get the opportunity to sell...

Is there a portable that can satisfy someone who loves desktops?

    Which portables can do this?

Is there a portable that can satisfy someone who loves desktops?

The only portable I find satisfying when away from my desktop heavies is a live rosin cartridge.

The author of that CNN article is the same Industry Plant who always writes these clickbait-y anti cannabis hit pieces, I’ve debunked Sandee LaMott on here multiple times already, last time was the claim that cannabis causes heart disorders.

    The Convection Thread

I put one in a Brick style butane vape I had made 2 years ago, the goal was to design something that would be nearly impossible to combust. It worked really well for the most part, I actually broke the part using a bigger dab torch trying to induce combustion.

That seems awfully hard to believe for a convection vape. How was that measured?
