Honesty is the best policy.
At least when you can count on those you care about to be reasonable.
There are still sad stories like the one of the child whose mother told him to seek treatment for his use. He behind bars after the jailer's thought he was faking an allergic reaction.
All...
You should try posting the image again, it failed.
I am very interested in this sort of thing.
I would like to know how you made it and physical dimensions if you would.
Find the 'direct' link, and use that for the image, or use another service like postimage, which won't try to steal...
With the hammer, you can take your material and remove it from the heat source completely.
The chamber where your material is is separate, and you put it up to the heat source when you are ready to use it (like you would on a log vape).
So there is no leakage with it. With a very small amount...
Age matters to the extent you can control the temperature.
So it does matter. But if you are good at controlling the temperature you can minimize the amounts of compounds outside the range. NOT eliminate, but minimize. The Herbalaire is pretty consistent and does a very good job of staying...
It doesn't matter the maturity or age of the material, honestly.
If you just inhale quicker to lower the temperature the effect will not happen.
But if you do get into the higher temp range, then you will get the sleepies.
Yeah, I consider any vape with a small tube you insert herbs into, then attach to a heat source or apply heat directly to "freebase-style". It's just a simple, basic design.
I had not, I will look into it, but the diameter must be somewhat similar to the Hammer's to be effective.
As well as...
Unfortunately that is worse than what is reported with the HA.
Seems like it may be a step backwards.
I thought the herbalaire was the HERBIE? We have two Herbies now?
mod note: Please avoid back-to-back posts, use Edit instead. Two posts merged.
No slack cut here.
My standards don't tolerate comments like "other vapes don't work". Because they do work.
It doesn't matter how smart you are, someone is always smarter.
Like Tesla.
I'm slightly offended by some of the statements made in the videos.
I think honesty is the best policy, and while the statements are not dishonest, they certainly give the impression of avoiding the truth.
I'm out.
Nice write up.
Something to keep in mind is that the boiling points of specific compounds vary depending on the starting material, and will vary somewhat. However, the fine point of selection is appealing. Being able to pick a degree Fahrenheit and being at that temp is interesting. What is...
I just thought it may be good to amend this to include why. The number one determinant is Vapor to air ratio, the second is path narrowness, the third is path length/materials(relative to cooling or adsorb/absorption(affinity) of terpenes) (really a small factor).
The first and second factors...
I find that in most instances that the opposite is true, and that it removes moisture from the lungs.
Except when they are more interested in federal law, or covering their asses.
With that combined with temp range consistency, I think it is pretty awesome, IF it delivers.
But a few things are left to be desired, like compatibility to water devices, and portability. But if those are quick fixes, and all the other claims are true, they may do well.
Until capacitor...
Yeah, but can it play Cool Spot?
If it's a portable, it may be revolutionary.
There are at least two plug ins I can think of that fit the bill otherwise, though one only gives the option of going to 400*F.
I don't think that is what was meant, because that was nowhere in the post that lwien...
I read a post by Max I believe. It was a long time ago, and I was in the same position.
He said you couldn't go wrong with the Herbalaire, so I got one for around 145.
I'm inclined to agree, I love the thing, though I don't use it much anymore, I still think it is a great vape...
