You can actually clean the whole head without removing the balls if you choose, soak the whole thing in iso, you can remove the part that has the clicks discs and VI first

Already been done, you can access the click discs in the tempest, the test kit discs are not calibrated correctly some people have just removed them entirely until the calibrated discs are released

Test it without flower just to get it clicking, heat the shizzle out of it, if you don't get a click at all might be defective, least you won't waste anything.

Would highly recommend watching Brenyos video on page 30 before trying to remove and reinstall the VI! Decided to dismantle the cap during a regular cleaning just to familiarise myself prior to getting the calibrated VI, pretty terrifying tbh, thought I had knackered it a couple of times :doh...
