Some impressions on the full release tempest. Nice packaging, love the "Inspired by Phatpiggies TA" on the back, nice touch. Lost the Mad Heaters branding/engraving on the top of the indicator housing, which is a shame, looked very cool and was another example of the classy and painstaking...

Nope, the full release seems to have lost the branding on the top on the cap, sadly, looks so cool on the beta unit, but my beta upgrade kit has no engraving either. Great review!

It's a bit weird he still uses the clicks to time it, rather than the VI, Dyna blindness :lol: definitely never felt the need to heat soak at all

Hubba hubba, black and rosewood is even better looking than I hoped. Ti and ebony also amazing 😍 beta upgrade installed (vi still a bitch to install though even with the new tweezers, actually went off manual as could not get the straight part to clip into the 2 bars but got there in the end)...

Eagle has landed, just over 27 hours (UK), honestly black looks even better than expected, and the ebony stem is gorgeous as well, will post some pics later tonight

I did exactly the same, know damn well I'll be using the wood stems whether black/rosewood or Ti/Ebony, but just really wanted that black shiny shiny anyway :love:

I've got the rosewood with basic Ti, was planning to get the black with ebony but getting the full black Ti, pretty much because it looks so awesome 😎 wood stems are only £30 if you want both options, I still might get an ebony stem as well. Think they are the same internally but the wood...

Sharing my new TA3, along with a stem and Wpa from Dovetail Woodworks. TA3 - Hugely impressed, love the chunkiness and build quality, performance is really good, still experimenting but it is very forgiving even without indicators, although did manage to combust for the first time ever through...

I use the wand almost all the time, easy and dependable, really thought I would prefer the torch ritual but once you get the wand dialled in with the correct height it's brilliant. Does hammer the batteries but an extra set solves that.
