Mine 'works' like yours does now, like a classic lighter flame. I've been using the larger torch that I had for my Supreme...works but cumbersome. The moral of the story everyone is have a backup lighter. Daisy may be the best Vape out there (IMHO) but she is just wood metal and glass without...

^^ I've had my Daisy since xmas, I share Apathyballs sentiments on how awesome this thing is. I'd buy another no question should anything happen to mine. My stock lighter might finally be giving up the ghost. I've been surprised how long it lasted. The twist thing on the bottom of the...

i use mine without wooden mouthpiece and the glass reversed too. I keep the mouthpiece nice and clean so I can see what's going on. What are people doing for case? I've been using the box it came in but I need to find something else.

I would recommend using the tweezers to make these adjustments. The couple times I used my torch to them I ended up melting plastic onto the periscope. Edit it was paint too off the metal tip I've never really heard a whistle either. The finish or whatever is used on the wood has a certain...

Playing catch up on this thread. I wonder if the periscope stems that are breaking are a part of a bad batch of glass? There has been no issues with the beta tester devices that I'm aware of has there? Some people have had these since around xmas.

Copper has 400 times the heat transfer then glass. Stainless has 16 times the heat transfer then glass. Ideally you don't want any heat transferred, it takes away from the heat for vaporizing. On the other hand glass transfers roughly ten times more heat then wood Obviously a wood intake...

    Lily, Lotus or Vapman?

I don't think there are many people who have tried all three yet to give you a real world comparison between them I've only tried the lily of the three, but some things carry through for all of them. Where you are going to use it determines which to get. Outdoor use means the torch flame can...

The lily mouthpiece is the same diameter are the daisy intake stem but the daisy stem is longer. Not that you would want a wooden intake stem though....

Tommy experimented with a metal heat intake on the Daisy but wasn't satisfied with the results. My guess is because the metal heats up faster then the glass, stealing some of the heat away from the vaping process. For the unaware, the intake on both the daisy and the lily act as hot air guides...

I can see that. A loose load might have areas where the hot air can get by without heating the load. I lightly tamp on my wand vapes and it works there too

well now I'm wondering if Tom Funk is right, that the front one is the carb. Seems to work better then using the side hole in my limited testing

One on front one on side here. I thought in the video link Tommy sent me he was using side hole as carb, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make as the only difference that I can tell between holes is location. If you have an issue why not email Tommy and allow him the time to...

Safety of direct inhaling exhausted Butane

These are my thoughts on the topic as well. BHO production also concentrates whatever contaminants are in a can or cans. I think every heat exchange can have potential dangers...remember that super long thread about the ceramic heating element safety?

I have a method of tap tap tapping the carb during the inhale, I find I can get bigger clouds this way, probably because the load darkening is more even (and dark) try it sometime
