the hammer does rock. I've been getting mine back out lately when i'm sick of batteries and electricity... today it stopped working, not sure what's going on it with it. doesn't sound or smell like butane is coming out it was cold over night (40F) and I left it in the car if that means anything

check out that alcohol free tincture thread where you start off using grain alcohol and then use the glycerin. glycerine isn't a very strong solvent

instead of vac you could pump from the top instead of vac'ing from the bottom...that'd be much cheaper with a hand pump. one benefit is you don't have to worry about stuff getting into your vacuum pump
