Yes, my Solo stays right on the bed... ready to go. And so safe for the disabled or soon to be sleeping user. No flame to start a fire and shuts itself off too. One of the best medical devices that is not a medical device.

Don't know if I agree with the cracked heater cover theory. When I use the balloon setup I just crank 'er up to the 500F max and let 'er rip. Fan level 1-2 or 3 depending on my mood. Makes the most sense to me for this application. I never worry about producing clouds this way. Works every time.

Yes, my favorite way to use the EQ now. I just put the balloon and adaptor in my D020 bubbler for really cool smooth hits.

Seems like it could be modified by putting a bigger more powerful fan underneath the EQ. The remote would not work that way, but it would at least be useable with bags.
