    Arizer Solo II

I thought I had a problem with the seal after I used a large diameter stem, But apparently the part is "self healing". Seems tight again. I can even pick up the Solo by the stem again. I am caeful to let the Solo warm up before inserting/removing the stem. I felt I had to use the extra "washer"...

    Arizer Solo II

I like this setup a whole lot: The bent stem is a broken Solo stem that I sanded and flamed for reuse. I like the longer stem and the feel of a flattened glass stem in my mouth, so I added the extension. By using the tubing I can use any Solo stem instead of a gong. I no longer use the...

    Arizer Solo II

THAT SINKING FEELING......I once got a package like that. Unfortunately, the glass rattling WAS a $1200.00 soxhlet extractor. It arrived in about 5000 pieces. Yeah sure, throw it in a box, cross your fingers and ship it across the country. Some shippers don't have the brains God gave geese. Glad...

    Arizer Solo II

There were a lot of mods for the original Solos that addressed real and perceived problems. I agree that the Solo II can be used just the way it is, as most everything that bugged users about the old model(s) has been addressed. However, adding water to the path adds an extra dimension and may...

    Arizer Solo II

Me too. After several years I found my Eds stem. So I decided to use it in the Solo II. Heated up the unit first as well. Now the fit is looser. :shrug:So the moral is: stick with the original stems to be on the safe side. Probably no real damage was done, but "looseness" was hastened along. At...

    Arizer Solo II

I had a similar problem with my wife. I had two Solos, so I sold one and she OKed the upgrade. I used to rotate the two Solos, one in use while the other charged. But I seldom need to do that now. The Solo II lasts much longer than my old Solos even with the battery upgrade. Of course, the...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

That is hard to believe. Seems like you have been on this forum forever. You have to be some kind of a "Vape Guru" by now.

    Arizer Solo II

I had two Solos over the past five years. There were a couple of warranty replacements, so I've only replaced the battery once in each unit. I try to follow good charging procedures, but if not these batteries last a long time. I use my Solos a lot, hard to believe the batteries last as long as...

    Arizer Solo II

Just picked up my new Solo II at the post office. I'm waiting patiently(right!!) for it to charge to the top. I should have had it yesterday, but no one does their job properly anymore, so I got a note to pick it up instead of a delivery. They rarely actually attempt to deliver to the house. I...

    Arizer Solo II

I really like this little water tool. The best thing is it does not leak into the Solo like some others. The downside is sometimes you will get water in your mouth. I stopped that from happening with a glass mouthpiece extension. Now if I could only find it. Ataxian breaks stuff, I just lose it.

Had mine 5 or six years. Been so long I can't remember. Been using the bags quite a bit lately.

I'm about to order another of those little bubblers from Puff It Up. Makes the Solo even more amazing. No leaks. Store it, move it, lay it down.....the water stays there. I like this unit a lot.

    Arizer Solo

Now I do: Am so happy with this piece. The design gives leak-free use. And you can even tip it over and the water stays inside. I added an extension that further cools the vapor and feels like a pipe stem in my mouth with the flattened glass. At$ !4.99 shipped from PuffItUp, it is...

    Arizer Solo

Yes, this stuff works amazing. I use it to clean my beer brewing equipment as well. Presently trying to sell one of my 2 Solos to a friend, so I can justify spending money on the new model.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I find it just incredible that the EQ produces such "thick" vapor using the balloon setup. Although I have only had this unit, I suspect it works as good or better than most. Considering the low price and how long Arizer products last, it would be a great choice for anyone wanting that feature.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I have been using the EQ in the evening lately. I use mostly the balloons now. Works so well with Ddave adaptor and Arizer's new angled glass filler tube with ground glass. Going on six years now. I only had to replace the heater glass(see below on how I did this). It is almost bullet proof now.

    Arizer Solo

Had my Solo apart for repair, so I took some pictures to share. The heater is a simple device, just a metal disk inside ceramic. The sensor is similar. They are separated by an insulating spacer and another one located between the heater and the housing. I found the front panel and bottom plate...
