Another vote for the Solo. Tried, true, easy to use and reasonably priced. If you are considering a 'home' unit instead of a portable, may want to consider a log (nano, UD, HI, etc). :2c:

@arf777, why no shellfish or pork (not for p, in general)? Do you think it is related to health concerns 'back in the day'? Or was there other reasoning?

I believe matzoh has to be unleavened and made in a certain amount of time because (as the story goes) they had to get outta there in a hurry. So no time to let dough rise.

If you've already crushed it a bit, I'd say leave it at this point. Less air = slower degradation! (Is that even a word??)

Another vote for the Enano. It's a beast power wise, but in a petite body. Plus, when it's cool out, it makes an awesome hand warmer. :D
