Something I learned with my Lotus is to feel when the vapor is getting hot, near combustion, and immediately let off the heat while simultaneously increasing draw rate, pulling hard AF, to cool the load. I've had to do that a few times with the Square vaping on red trying to get full extraction...

Did some field testing after work yesterday, the Square works well on a hike. I really liked not having to fight the wind trying to use a "windproof" torch and 4 pods are plenty for me.

It's definitely lighter with convection, there's a clear difference in my duff jar between my Lotus ABV and what I've bulit up since I got my omni.

I've only ran through maybe 5 pods so it's hard to say, but I basically did mine how you described. Very minimal tamping, tight enough to hold heat but loose enough to pass air. Hitting it "normally" (with a single press of The Button) produced lighter hits and required more draws to finish...

I think you might be right.... Played with it some more...seems to happen when I do the long press of the power button to check the battery level while charging...still weird tho. It had got pretty warm on the charger, then that happened I was like :uhoh: Did a test hit....lowest...

You need to check the ring around the heating element...not sure exactly how to troubleshoot, but load er up n see what happens. Depending on when yours shipped they might have run a thorough QC on it before sending it.

I feel safer with the vapcap than my electronics, but yeah a flotation device is a good idea. Nice, mines a Cyclone, too. Probably V1...with them janky-ass screws.

LOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS THING! Dude what is that torch??? Looks like a more well-built version of one I got on Amazon. Tank isn't smooth on mine, but kinda ridged and my tank/top is only held on with one screw instead of three.
