The rotation of the magnetic cap works so effectively. I really don't have to stir anymore, maybe if I want to go super dark but I'm lately not obsessed with that anymore. I do find eventually I have to gently tamp the material with my finger once or twice to finish the bowl but it's great.

Yeah maybe it'll dry out after a while and go back to normal, or you can put it in a little bag of dry rice overnight and see if it makes a difference.

I'm pretty sure you aren't suppose to get liquid into the top hole of the cap.

I attribute the scorching to just not realizing how fast the titanium tip would heat, subsequent bowls are going nice and smooth. Loving the coloring on the tip!
