Got my first piece of UK glass last week, piece by ElBartoglass (Peter Barton IG @elbartoglass). Managed to get it at auction, so happy with it :)

Yeah it does sound very skeptical the whole thing. I had all the same reservations, no way I would give my money to such an unknown quantity. I had hoped someone might know more here :D

The load normally holds together when you suck the contents into the stem. Another way is to place a screen over that again to hold it.

Should be a better video. I also ended up drilling the oven depth larger by a couple of mm so I could fit in a concentrate pod from the Boundless hybrid (flowermate small oil can) Worked but was slow with a single flame, got some nice tasty light hits from it. I think it might work...

Skipped some of the initial heating as you all know how long it is, again not the best video but I don't have great facilities/equipment ;) I will try another later with a better camera. You should get the idea though, and just showing it does work and how good a fit it is.

So my Roots vape arrived in the UK today and so far I got to admit I'm impressed. It's a smaller device than I pictured but that isn't a bad thing. The finish is very smooth and so far there is nothing I can fault it on. The thing is so easy and intuitive to use. First hit was pure taste...

Brick is a completely different experience to the other butane vape types, the flavour is purer as it is convection, it has a different profile. Not knocking the other vapes, the brick isn't as discrete as say the M and not as quick to use but it is well worth the investment.
